Affordable + Modern was established to design and build homes for the Florida lifestyle. Our smaller homes are strinkingly contemporary with environmentally sustainable features. We can provide master planning of a community based on our models and philosophy. Through a comprehensive systems approach to building technology selection and good passive design, we developed homes that offer open and efficient two, three and four bedroom homes ranging from 1,200 to 2,000 sq. ft. We believe that the options available to progressive homebuyers are limited and we are doing something about it. The streetscape elevation as depicted above and our work is a prelude to the designs we are working on.

Community Development Goals

Our homes and duplexes/townhomes are designed to fit on small lots. They are sited and designed to enjoy the outdoor space as they
are integrated with the layout of the house that maximizes enjoyment and necessary privacy.

By implementing varied setbacks and heights our streetscape becomes more interesting and individualistic.

Our homes have been designed to allow for flexibility in plan and size. All designs can easily be converted to 4 bedroom or 2 bedroom
homes. Likewise some can incorporate carports or enclosed garages or neither.

By reducing the carbon footprint of the homes we are able to create an advantageous balance between private and public spaces.

By virtue of their smaller size our homes use less energy and that makes them more affordable.
